Weβre living in a time where people form opinions about you before theyβve even heard your voice.
One quick Google search, one article, one comment β and suddenly your entire identity is reduced to what strangers have said, not who you actually are.
Iβve seen this firsthand.
If you search Calvin Hardie or Calvin-Lee Hardie, youβll likely come across stories tied to Inverness, some of which are old, inaccurate, or missing major context. But thatβs the thing about the internet β it rarely shows the full picture.
It doesnβt show who youβve helped.
It doesnβt show the progress youβve made.
It doesnβt show the nights you stayed up trying to do better, or the people you quietly supported behind the scenes.
Thatβs why this blog exists β not just to correct whatβs been said, but to add back whatβs been missing.
We are more than our mistakes.
We are more than headlines.
We are more than the past versions of ourselves that others try to keep alive online.
Whether youβve been through similar struggles or youβre simply here to understand the real story, I hope this space reminds you of one thing:
You are allowed to grow.
You are allowed to rebuild.
And you are allowed to be known for more than whatβs written about you.
This blog is a work in progress β just like I am.
But itβs honest, itβs real, and itβs mine.
